Our Review: NetZero has really great rates on internet service. The company has a great reputation, and their website explains everything great. Plus, the company is backed by a bigger company with an even better reputation. If you need high speed internet, this is a great company to choose.

User Review: I love NetZero. I’ve been a customer for about 3 years, and I never get bored with telling people how great it is. I have high speed internet and it only costs me $20 a month. Sure it’s not that turbo speed stuff, but it’s good enough for me.

Services Offered: High speed internet

Company Overview: Juno was established in 1995, and is owned by United Online. They offer internet services in 10,000 cities across the U.S. and are a part of a company with more than 60 million account holders, most of which belong to Juno and NetZero high speed internet services.

Our Review: Juno is a sister company to NetZero, which automatically makes them good in our book. The company has great prices and a lot of service area that is covered. More importantly, they have top-rate customer service.

User Review: Juno has been my ISP for about ten years now. I got their services right when they first came out, and was one of the first of my family to have high speed internet. Everyone else has worked with a bunch of different companies and never been happy, but I’ve had the same great company for a long time and I don’t plan on switching anytime soon.

Services Offered: High speed internet via satellite

Company Overview: HughesNet offers satellite high speed internet services to consumers all over the country. Their prices are the same or cheaper than traditional high speed internet companies, but they are accessible everywhere because they get their service from satellites instead of cables and phone lines. They are known as America’s #1 choice for satellite broadband service.

Our Review: Satellite internet access is a new thing, but these guys definitely have their own corner on the market already. They have great prices and their available anywhere access is a bonus for customers that have a hard time finding internet providers. The customer service is extraordinary, as well.

User Review: HughesNet was the only company I could find that could get me internet service with where I live. I’m so far out of the real world that cable and phone lines haven’t made their way here yet, so I had to resort to satellite service. I’m really impressed with it though, and the people that hooked it up were really great.

Choosing a High Speed Internet Service

To some people, internet service is all the same. However, it isn’t really, because there are so many companies that offer so many different services that you can choose from. Sure, it might be similar service, but each company has a different policy and different customer service that will work better with some people than it will with others. By taking the time to check out all of your options for high speed internet providers, you’ll be more likely to find a service that works for you instead of finding a service that only kind of works or that you have to settle for. If you’re going to pay for a service, after all, you should get the best that you can. That’s why it’s important to take the time to check out all of your options and make sure that you’re able to get everything that you need when it comes to high speed internet access. High speed internet service providers are a dime a dozen, and sometimes the most popular ones aren’t the best. Pay attention to pricing and the terms of the prices that you see advertised. For example, a company might have high speed internet for $25 a month, but that might only be a slower speed when compared to better companies or higher priced packages, or you might have to have additional services or sign a long-term contract. These things, of course, are fine if they work for you, but if you want service without strings, make sure that’s what you get. Bundles from a cable or satellite company are great, but only if you’re truly getting a good deal on the services. For example, if you could get the same speed of internet from somewhere else for $10 less each month, it’d be better not to bundle with one company, unless you want to pay an extra $10 for convenience of having all your services together. In the end the choice is yours, just make sure that you think about the things that matter most to you and make sure that you get what you want and need.
